The Axtell Leadership Team

In an industry where change dominates the horizon, we are proud to say the Axtell team has been in place for decades!

Rich Tatgenhorst – President/Owner
Rich hails from Cincinnati, Ohio where he comes from a background rich in music and theatre! In 1986, he came to Atlanta as the leader of a show band known as Kid Glove. After completing the stint at a local club, he joined the staff of Axtell Productions as a sales associate and put together a new band known as MOXIE. By 1992, he was promoted to Executive Vice President. In 1995, he purchased the company and has continued to operate the business under the same standard of excellence for which it has been known since it’s inception in 1969. Under Rich’s guidance, MOXIE also continues to grow in popularity among Atlanta brides and corporate clients.

Dianne McGarey, CMP - Senior Event Consultant
This Kentucky girl found her way to Axtell Productions in 1978 when she went to work for founder Bob Axtell as a sales representative. Upon Axtell’s retirement in 1986, she bought the company along with a junior partner and expanded Axtell’s repertoire of services from booking bands to total event production and management. In 1995, she sold the company to Rich Tatgenhorst and elected to continue her involvement as Senior Event Consultant. During that same year, she co-founded TEAMNET, a nationwide network of top-flight production houses. She has been the Executive Director of TEAMNET since inception. Dianne is a veteran producer of celebrity talent such as Kenny Loggins, Natalie Cole, Jim Belushi, and The Steve Miller Band.
