Soloist Pianist

Diana has a Bachelor of Music degree from Eastern Michigan University where she majored in Piano Performance; there she studied with Joseph Gurt and Garik Pedersen. Diana has also studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria with George Kern. She has accompanied various instrumentalists and vocalist throughout her career. Diana is currently teaching and performing locally in Georgia.

Freelance Pianist

As a freelance pianist, Diana enjoys performing at weddings, receptions, dinners and formal events. It can make the occasion elegant and memorable. She encourages the bride and groom to come for a free consultation in order to personalize their ceremonies. Accompanying vocalists or instrumentalists is also an option. For those planning other formal events, Diana gives an extensive repertoire list from which they can choose music in genres including classical, standards, jazz, popular and religious. Diana is also more than willing to learn music not shown in her repertoire.

Weddings

Generally performing 20 to 30 minutes before the wedding as the guests are arriving, Diana sets the mood and commands focus while you are busy behind the scenes. She generally determines pre-wedding music while incorporating your suggestions and taste, and honoring a few special selections chosen solely by you. Processional and soloist selections are chosen by the bride and groom. Requested repertoire will be determined one month prior to your event. Give her ideas of the type of music you’d like or choose from her song list. Keep in mind, Diana can learn anything and is familiar with many more selections than what appears in the Song List. So don’t be dismayed if you don’t see a particular selection listed. Save your energy for more important matters.
